Plumrose Food Line has been founded in 2007 by Thomsen Food Line and Plumrose Scandinavia. Plumrose Food Line unites activities from both companies, and handles sales of mainly sausages for the Danish catering and foodservice market.

Plumrose Food Line sausages have been developed based on well-known Danish recipes. The sausages are being produced by the largest private owned meat processing plant in Germany; zur Mühlen Gruppe.
